Tuner

Use the tuner to tune your guitar or bass (we've been told it works with other instruments too). It works just like a conventional chromatic tuner, by detecting the incoming frequency the tuner can detect the closest note and tell you how far off you are. You can even see the wave and frequency spectrum. If you are trying to play one note in particular simply select manual mode and choose the note. Metronome

The metronome allows you to select the beat you require, whether its the traditional 4/4 beat, the waltz beat 3/4 or any other beat the metronome can handle it, you can even set the tempo to whatever you like. Don't like the sounds that the metronome makes? No problem, you can change it to anything you like.

Tone

The all-new tone generator allows you to tune by ear. It can generate all notes over a range of octaves. Use the tone generator to tune by ear and then check with the tuner to see how close you got.

Requirements

In order for your PC to hear the sound coming from your instrument you will need a microphone, or, if it is an instument such as a guitar, you can use a jack to convert your guitar cable into the line-in port of your sound card.
